Get Rs.1200 Cashback by Paying Electricity Bill for Rooftop Solar Power Systems

Well, the Budget is still eleven days away, but you no longer need to wait to plan for savings! BSES (Bombay Suburban Electricity Supply), one of the two power distribution companies in Delhi, has announced a cashback scheme that can help you save up to Rs. 1200. All you have to do is digitally pay your electricity bill on time in the first quarter of 2018.

Who Can Avail of This Cashback Scheme

  1. BSES  Rajdhani Power Limited (BRPL) customers
  2. BSES Yamuna (BYPL) customers

In total, approximately 40 lakh BSES customers residing in south, west, east and central Delhi will come under the purview of this scheme

How to Get the Electricity Bill Cashback

  1. Pay the bill via Mobikwik’s website or mobile app
  2. Pay your January, February and March electricity bills on or before the deadline
  3. Get Rs. 300 cashback per month for each of the above three months
  4. Pre-pay April 2018 electricity bill of at least Rs. 1000 on or before 31st March 2018 to get an additional Rs. 300 cashback
  5. Caveat: To be eligible you have to pay three consecutive bills on or before the deadline with Mobikwik. This can include the April pre-payment

Bharat QR Code:  Another Digital Payment Contingent Electricity Bill Cashback Scheme

  1. Log in through mobile app and scan the QR code printed on electricity bill
  2. Choose payment mode and pay via Mastercard
  3. Get a minimum 10% cashback
  4. In effect from 28th February 2018
  5. Covering all BSES customers
